Appliance Repair in Kingwood (77339)

Kingwood was laid out in the early 1970s as a master-planned community of wooded villages, greenbelt trails and curving streets, and it became part of the City of Houston in the 1990s. The 77339 ZIP covers much of it, including the Kingwood Town Center area along Kingwood Drive.

The oldest villages are now around fifty years old, and later sections were built through the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Under the trees, kitchens range from original layouts to full remodels.

Many Kingwood houses sit close to greenbelts and drainage ditches, and those lots stay shaded and damp, which affects garages and utility rooms more than kitchens.

The West Fork of the San Jacinto River runs along Kingwood's southern edge, and during Harvey it rose far enough to flood homes, businesses and schools across parts of the community, including around Town Center.

Thousands of refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers and laundry pairs were bought in the months that followed. Those units are now old enough for control boards, drain pumps and ice makers to start failing, and in a house where everything was replaced at once, they tend to fail within a year or two of one another.

We help households sort out which of those are worth repairing and which are better replaced, one appliance at a time rather than all at once.

Pine needles and pollen collect in exterior dryer vent hoods, and older Kingwood houses often have long vent runs to reach an outside wall. A dryer that needs two cycles here is usually a venting problem first.

Kingwood is inside our standard coverage area and priced the same as the rest of it. Repairs carry our 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty.
