Appliance Repair in North Richmond (77406)

77406 carries a Richmond address but covers the area north of the Brazos River, running up toward the Westpark Tollway and the Grand Parkway in Fort Bend County. Pecan Grove, one of the older large subdivisions in the area, is here, as are newer master-planned communities along FM 359 and FM 723.

That gives the ZIP a wide span of housing, from established neighborhoods close to the river to new construction on land that was farmed not long ago.

Clay soils across this part of Fort Bend expand and shrink with wet and dry seasons, and slab movement over the years can put a refrigerator or front-load washer slightly out of level. A refrigerator that no longer closes its own doors is often just a leveling job.

The Brazos has run high in recent years, with major floods in 2016 and again during Harvey in 2017, when neighborhoods near the river were under evacuation orders. Levees protect much of the development here, but even a near miss leaves its marks on a house.

Refrigerators get unplugged and dragged to higher ground, freezers are emptied and restarted, and water lines are pulled loose in a hurry. If something has not worked right since it was moved or reconnected, the connection is the first place we look.

Many households in 77406 are empty during the working day. We can work with an early window, a neighbor who has a key or a family member who is home, and we send the diagnosis to whoever booked.
