Appliance Repair in Kashmere Gardens (77026)

77026 is northeast of downtown on both sides of the North Loop and centers on Kashmere Gardens, a long-established Black neighborhood. Rail lines and industrial land border it, and Hunting Bayou runs through it.

Most houses are small single-story homes built in the 1940s and 1950s, many on pier-and-beam foundations. Many belong to longtime owners or families that have kept them for generations.

Hunting Bayou has flooded parts of Kashmere Gardens repeatedly, including during Tropical Storm Allison and Hurricane Harvey. Many houses have had water inside at least once.

That history affects repair work. An appliance that sat in floodwater and was later dried and used again can develop corrosion that shows up years afterward as intermittent electrical problems. If yours has flooded, tell us, because it changes where we look first.

Houses that were repaired after a flood often have newer appliances installed on older wiring and plumbing. When something keeps failing, we check the connections as well as the appliance.

A lot of households here keep appliances running for a long time, and a simple older washer or range is often worth fixing. We tell you whether a repair is worth it before we do the work.

77026 is inside our standard coverage area, and every repair carries our 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty.
