Two neighborhoods, one ZIP
The 77088 ZIP takes in the heart of Acres Homes, around West Montgomery Road and West Little York, plus Inwood Forest to the west. They sit side by side but were built in very different ways.
Acres Homes grew parcel by parcel on large lots, with families building and adding on over decades. Inwood Forest was developed as a planned subdivision in the 1960s and 70s, with brick ranch houses on curving streets.
Many families in Acres Homes have kept the same land for generations, and several households may share one property. That can mean more than one kitchen or laundry setup on a single lot.
How that changes the calls
In Acres Homes, appliances are often spread around a property: a kitchen range in the main house, a chest freezer on a porch, a washer in a back room added years later. Older circuits and outdoor outlets are part of what we check.
Inwood Forest homes are more predictable. Laundry is typically in a utility room by the garage, kitchens have been updated at least once, and the repairs look like those in any established suburb — refrigerator defrost faults, dishwasher pumps, dryer thermal fuses.
Weather and scheduling
Heavy rain can make some streets with open ditches hard to drive for a few hours. If your street is under water on the day of your appointment, call us and we will move the visit rather than risk it.
Same-day visits are often available across 77088, and every repair includes our 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty.
