Appliance Repair in Fondren Southwest (77071)

Fondren Southwest sits in southwest Houston between Westbury to the east and Alief to the west. The 77071 ZIP covers a large part of it, around West Bellfort Avenue and South Gessner Road.

Single-family subdivisions here were mostly built from the late 1960s through the 1970s, and apartment communities line the larger roads. Many homeowners have been here a long time, and so have their appliances.

Kitchens and laundry rooms in many of those houses have never been fully remodeled, which keeps the hookups simple and makes the appliance the main question on most visits.

A large share of our 77071 calls involve appliances fifteen or twenty years old, sometimes more. Many were built simply and are worth keeping, but manufacturers stop making parts for older models, and that, more than the fault itself, often decides whether a repair makes sense.

Before we commit to a repair on an older unit, we check whether the part is still made, whether a compatible substitute exists and how long it takes to arrive. If a part is discontinued with nothing to replace it, you hear that at the visit, not after we have ordered something that may not fit.

A photo of the model and serial tag sent when you book lets us answer the parts question before we arrive.

Fondren Southwest is on our regular southwest Houston routes, and same-day visits are often possible when the parts are common ones.

If you live in one of the apartment communities, check first whether the appliance is yours or the property's; if it is yours, we schedule with you directly.

All repairs carry our 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty.
