Appliance Repair in Greenspoint (77060)

Greenspoint grew up around the interchange of I-45 and Beltway 8, with office towers and retail near the freeway. The 77060 ZIP also holds one of the densest concentrations of apartment complexes in north Houston, many of them built in the 1970s and 1980s.

Greens Bayou runs through the area, and it has flooded Greenspoint badly more than once, notably during Tropical Storm Allison in 2001 and Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Ground-floor apartments took much of that damage.

Apartment appliances are chosen to fit small footprints: stacked washer-dryer units in a hall closet, compact dishwashers, apartment-size ranges. Stacked units are the most involved to repair, because reaching the washer often means working around or separating the dryer above it.

Many units in these complexes were replaced after flooding, often in batches. That means a building can have dozens of identical appliances aging at the same rate, and the same fault showing up in several of them.

Apartment ranges and refrigerators also take more wear from turnover than a homeowner's would. Bent oven door hinges, cracked crisper drawers and missing shelf supports are routine, and most of those parts are still easy to find.

If you rent, your lease usually says who handles appliance repairs, and it is worth checking before you call. We work with residents directly and with property maintenance teams, and we can leave clear notes for the office either way.

Repairs carry our 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty, and Greenspoint is priced the same as the rest of our coverage area.
