Appliance Repair in the West Energy Corridor (77094)

77094 sits at the western end of the Energy Corridor, north of Barker Reservoir and along the Katy Freeway toward Katy. Compared with the older ZIPs closer in, much of this area was built in the 1990s and 2000s.

Most homes are two-story houses in planned subdivisions, with attached garages and laundry rooms off the kitchen or upstairs. There are also apartments and townhomes closer to the freeway.

Houston's hard water affects homes here too. Scale builds up in dishwashers, ice makers and washer inlet valves, and it is a common reason for weak water flow to those appliances.

In 2017, water collecting behind Barker Reservoir during Hurricane Harvey flooded homes in some subdivisions upstream of the dam, including Canyon Gate at Cinco Ranch. The reservoir is dry most of the time, and that flooding surprised many owners.

Many affected houses replaced their appliances during the rebuild. Those units are now at an age where repairs start to add up, and households often see more than one appliance fail within a short period.

Our most common calls here are upstairs washers with drain or leak problems, refrigerator ice makers and water dispensers, and dishwashers that no longer drain completely. When a washer leaks upstairs, the priority is keeping water off the ceiling below.

77094 is on our regular routes. Every repair carries our 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty.
