Appliance Repair in Jersey Village and Northwest Houston (77040)

The 77040 ZIP includes the City of Jersey Village, a small independent city surrounded by Houston, along with the neighborhoods around it near the Highway 290 and Beltway 8 interchange. Much of Jersey Village's housing went up from the late 1950s through the 1970s, with larger brick homes near its golf course.

Outside the city limits, the ZIP holds subdivisions from roughly the same era, some commercial strips and apartment complexes along the main roads.

White Oak Bayou runs through Jersey Village, and the city has flooded repeatedly — during Tropical Storm Allison, again in 2016 and during Hurricane Harvey. Some homes have been raised or bought out, and many others rebuilt more than once.

For appliance repair, that history means we often find newer units in older houses, and laundry equipment that was moved to a platform or a higher spot during a rebuild. We look carefully at electrical connections on anything that was near floor level during a flood, since corrosion can cause intermittent faults well after the water is gone.

Homes that stayed dry tend to have older kitchens with electric ranges and long-serving refrigerators, where the usual repairs are defrost systems and oven elements.

Jersey Village and the rest of 77040 are on our regular northwest routes. Every repair carries our 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty.

If you are inside Jersey Village, your house may be on a street that has been rebuilt or raised in stages, so a note about driveway access or ongoing construction helps us plan the visit.
